DBT PROGRAM STRUCTURE

DBT Skills Groups at West Knox Behavioral Health

Our DBT skills groups are part of our comprehensive mental health programs and follow an 8-week series format, with each series covering a segment of the DBT curriculum. Each module begins with two weeks of mindfulness training, followed by 6 weeks of skills education focused on that particular module. New participants can join the groups when there is a change in the skills module.

Completing the full DBT skills program, which consists of multiple 8-week cycles, takes approximately 6 months.

Cost: $40 per weekly group session.

Each group lasts 1.5 hours and provides a structured, supportive environment where clients, including adults and teens, can learn DBT skills, practice them, and apply them to real-life situations. The groups are held in person and require a commitment to complete the module for enrollment. An intake session is necessary to prepare for the program.
